     主要研究方向包括统计遗传及分子植物育种,油菜遗传育种与种质创新等 。培育了油菜品种南农油1号、南农油2号、南农油3号、南农油4号和南农9808,拥有丰富的油菜品种资源。近年来,主持国家自然科学基金多项,参与国家育种专项、转基因专项等课题任务4项(在研)。在BMC genomics, J. exp. Bot, Plos one等刊物上发表了论文20余篇,获授权发明专利2项。教学方面,担任课程群首席教授,承担本科生和研究生的多门生物统计类课程,参加盖钧镒院士主编的《试验统计方法》,该教材系“十二五”国家级规划教材。
