Prof. Weixiong Zhang’s research spans the fields of Computational & Molecular Biology/Genetics/Genomics and Artificial Intelligence (particularly, machine learning, data mining and heuristic search). His recent research is related to Network-based GWAS study, Network-based transcriptome analysis and the regulatory functions of small noncoding RNAs.
